Harold Hunt Ph.D. - Texas A&M Real Estate Research Center

Dr. Harold Hunt is a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana, a small town located about 45 miles southwest of New Orleans. He earned his B.S., Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from Texas A&M University. Before obtaining his Ph.D., Dr. Hunt worked as a commercial real estate appraiser for McCracken and Associates in Dallas, Texas. He currently holds an appointment as a Research Economist with the Real Estate Center located in the Mays Business School at Texas A&M.

At the Center, Dr. Hunt has been involved in research examining economic development, transportation, affordable housing, energy efficiency, oil & gas activity and a broad array of other special topics that affect Texas real estate markets.
