Michael Talley, Senior Vice President - McKinney Economic Development Committee

Michael Talley is the Senior Vice President at the McKinney Economic Development Corporation where he leads the MEDC Projects Team and is responsible for the organizational project pipeline. He previously served 3 years as Director of Economic Development for Denton County, Texas, one of the fastest growing counties in the United States and North Texas and served 4 years as Director of Economic Development over both Type A & B organizations for the City of Keene, Texas. A graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington (’07) and The University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute (’18), he has also served on the North Central Texas Economic Development District Board from 2017-2021, the United Way of Denton County Workforce Success Leadership Team 2019-2021, and the City of Denton Downtown Economic Development Committee from 2019-2021.
