Sara Neira (Nay-da) - HUD Region 6 Relocation Specialist

Biography:
Sara Neira (Nay-da), is the Region 6 Relocation Specialist for the   U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development with a portfolio covering all HUD programs within Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico.  Sara is a subject matter expert in the area of URA compliance for long-term disaster recovery programs.

Prior to joining HUD in 2006, Sara worked as a Relocation Administrator & Project Manager for O. R. Colan Associates providing URA consulting services to cities, states, and local government agencies for aviation, transportation, transit, and community development projects.

Ms. Neira is a past-President of Gateway Chapter 37 & has been an instructor for International Right of Way Association relocation courses.  Sara is a graduate of Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, Missouri with a Master’s degree in Business Administration & Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Management and Criminal Justice.
